Hande graduated from Koç University with a B.A. in Economics in 1999 and completed the master program in hospitality administration at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in 2008.

Since 2012, she is the Executive Member of Board & General Coordinator at Net Holding Inc.

She founded the Meritta Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center, which is a healing center for sea turtles in Northern Cyprus. Since 2018, she is the president of Basic Needs Association (TIDER) – the Food Banking Network in Turkey as well as  a board member of Turkish Business Women’s Association (TIKAD) and a member of the Turkish delegation of Women 20 (W20).
