The target group is men. The primary objective of the association is to create mentality and behavioral change particularly in men. So, why did we launch such an initiative and why did we founded an organization mainly consisted of men? It is not possible to solve this issue without engaging men who are at the root of the issue. As the decision-makers in family, economy and society and the law-makers are mostly consisted of men, we believe the change should start with men. By targeting men and together with men, YANINDAYIZ Association will execute projects and awareness raising activities particularly on ending violence, the provision of equal opportunity in all areas of life such as education, health, labour force, domestic work.

In the video specially prepared for the YANINDAYIZ Association launch event, founding members said;

“The key for social transformation is the women issue.

We are at women’s side for gender equality until,

All kinds of physical, mental, social and economic violence against women are eliminated,

Gender equality and equal opportunities in education is available,

The traditional roles attributed to women change,

They are able to live freely,

To fight against all obstacles causing gender inequality and discrimination,

To have gender equality in recruitment and promotions,

To put an end to gender discrimination in language,

To allow them to be represented equally in politics,

To share the domestic labor responsibility,

And to allow them to take an effective and active role in every area of economy!”

and mentioned the objectives of YANINDAYIZ Association.
